Hi, I'm Pablo Murad — a GNU/Linux & BSD systems administrator based in Brazil. I build and self-host open source projects, and I write here about the networks, infrastructure, and small experiments that fill my days in tech.
What I'm into:
- Free and open source software — I build and self-host my own tools. My latest is pablo.news, a syndicated microblog (CakePHP + SQLite).
- Self-hosting & homelab — everything runs on my own metal, behind CGNAT, and still exposed to the world.
- Networks & infrastructure — Linux/BSD sysadmin by trade; I enjoy the plumbing most people never see.
- The indie web — own your content: POSSE, RSS, the small web, no walled gardens. This blog is published over SSH with prose.sh.
- Terminal-first tooling —
ssh, scp, plain text, and scripts that quietly do the boring work for me. - Beyond the screen — photography, and the occasional thought on knowledge and how we choose to publish it.
Pull up a chair and read on.
